In Mrs. Bui’s E-STEM class, 3rd graders from Mrs. Gardner’s class are running tests to answer the question “What is the effect of rain on natural materials?” It is great to see our beautiful Outdoor Learning Center in action and our students engaged in hands-on science learning.

At Five Hawks, all classes have a “buddy class.” The buddy classes pair older and younger students and support relationship building beyond their classrooms and grade levels. Buddy classes will get together 1-2 times per month to engage in some sort of buddy activity. Pictured are 4th grade-Connors and 1st grade -Gerdes.
