Today, we remember September 11, 2001, by honoring the people who showed incredible courage, compassion, and kindness during a difficult time.

At Lightbridge Academy Prior Lake, we believe some of the most important lessons we can teach young children are how to care for others, help a friend, show kindness, and be a positive part of their community.❤️

While young children may not understand the events of September 11, they can understand what it means to:
🤝 Help someone who needs you
💗 Treat others with kindness and respect
🌟 Show gratitude for the people who help keep our communities safe
🏡 Take care of our friends, families, and neighbors
🫶 Work together and look out for one another

Today is a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference.

As we remember and honor those affected by September 11, we are also reminded of the importance of raising a generation that leads with kindness, compassion, courage, and community.❤️

We remember. We care. We choose kindness.
