What a week! Our STEAM Lesson this week centered around what characteristics and values make up a super hero 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️ and how they design their super-suits to meet their specific needs.

We also, so happened, to be sharing the CCHS campus with some real life super heroes. We had deep discussions about how the wildland firefighters use all different types of skills to protect our community.

In the end, we decided that we would like to share our gratitude for their hard work.
Thank you to all the who have come from all over in our time of need. ❤️

We made tie dye shirts for our clothing study. Thank you for adding these beautiful silhouettes to our shirts. I am sure they will make beautiful keepsakes....if they survive playtime 😁

Hi All, I just wanted to bring your attention to a child care program aimed at making child care affordable for Construction Workers that you may not know about.
-Are you an apprentice registered with the State of Oregon in a construction trade (or a new journey worker who completed a registered apprenticeship in the past 5 years)?

-Do you have children under the age of 12 (or with special needs under the age of 17) living at home and needing care from someone other than a parent?

-Are you spending more than 7% of your household income (e.g. more than $350 if your household monthly income is $5,000 per month or more than $700 if your household income is $10,000 per month)?
