Open House was wonderful and we loved seeing you!! We want to remind all of you that Adventureland Preschool classes start TUESDAY, September 1, 2026. It will be a four day week to “ease” into our new routine as the next week will also be four days with Monday being Labor Day. After that we will be on a normal Monday/Friday schedule. See you all Tuesday!!

More visiting than cleaning happened today but I met some cute kids and great parents and grandparents. I also ran across a few more “old” pictures you might enjoy!!!
If you look real close through the water you’ll see our lemon tree is now finally planted outside. This eight foot something skinny tree was once a lemon seed planted by the children in a paper cup.
I’ll be back to cleaning on Monday. In the meantime I’ll work at home getting our daily plans figured out. Please feel free to put paperwork, payments and shot records in the black mailbox near the door. I found out shot records are available to be printed off from your My Chart. Exemption information is also available online
All new curriculum this year stuffed with lots of art, science, and play. Won’t be long now!!

Recognize these cuties?? I love finding old pictures while cleaning and getting ready for the new school year. I will be at the school most all day tomorrow for those wanting to register, bring in paperwork, shot records or payments. I have been told but don’t know for sure that shot records are now available to print from My Chart. That would be great. Let me know if you are able to do this so I can spread the word.

Summer school has ended. It’s been a lot of fun, even though we had to shorten some of our activities due to the smoke. Fishing, bubbles, and legos were enjoyed this week. And we discovered new friends and made our own pizza for lunch.
If you have questions, need to turn in paperwork just stop by. I’ll be at the school a lot cleaning, and getting ready for the new year. You are always welcome to leave papers, payments, and shot records in the mail box. It locks and is checked daily.

All of the information packets were mailed last week for children enrolled in preschool this fall. We will be here this week if you get things completed, but everything is safe if left in the locking mailbox to the right of the door. It’s checked daily. School starts September 1 and our official Meet and Greet is August 26 from 12:00/2:00. You are always welcome to stop by if we are here. We will be in and out all of August preparing for the new school year. Getting paperwork in early helps us get charts and rosters completed before that first day.

Not so many photos to post as we were stuck inside due to smoke. We are following the Parks and Rec number for outdoor activities. Hoping our last week of summer school provides us less smoke and more outdoor time. For now we are acting out nursery rhymes starting with the Three Little Pigs. Photos from last week are our latest addition to our sea, farm play, painting and legos.

Our summer program is winding down so quickly. This week I will be mailing all the information to everyone signed up for preschool in the fall. You are welcome to drop off payments and paperwork as soon as you get them. We will be here thru the end of the month. After that we will just be in and out. Things can be placed in the black locking mailbox to the right of the door. It’s checked daily and completely safe. Getting paperwork early really helps prepare for the new school year. We still have a few openings remaining mostly in the later time slot. Stop by for paperwork!! If you don’t see us in the classroom check the playground in the back!!
Hope you enjoy our pictures from this past week. Water fun, sensory boxes and our rocks we polished. Monster masks, chalk drawing and the Herrera girls enjoying their green beans that we planted before school was out!!!!

Another week of summer school at Adventureland!! We added to our sea, painted with cars, made and erupted a volcano and played in the sun on our Slip and Slide.

We have completed the first half of our summer program already!! We are excited for July!!! First on the agenda is planting our lemon tree. The space is ready!!! Our rock polishing project is in its fourth and last phase and our sea mural is beautiful and full. I didn’t take as many pictures as I should have but we got some great ones!!! We have had visitors, watched a tornado and made things explode. What’s up next? Hatching something amazing and never done before at Adventureland.
