🚨Meet the Tigers Night Wednesday 8/19/26 UPDATE🚨

🐾The Booster Club will be providing a meal for the Tigers and their families starting at 5:30 pm in the elementary commons.

🐅 Meet the Tigers will begin at 6 pm in the elementary gym.

🐾 After spirit night, all High School Fall sports will meet at their designated areas for Player/Parent meetings.

🏈 HS Football will remain in the elementary gym

🥎 HS Softball will meet in the elementary library

⛳️ Girls Golf will meet in the elementary conference room

📣 HS Cheer will meet in the elementary commons

🏃 Cross Country will meet in the elementary teacher’s lounge

Our Tiger football team held their second annual lift-a-thon today after a good morning practice. The Quarterback Club then fed the team and coaches. The lift-a-thon has two parts to the competition. First, the boys get donations from Tiger supporters. The team and individual who raises the most money are then recognized. The second part of the competition is a lifting contest. The boys are in teams of 5 or 6 and compete in the following lifts: bench press, squat, clean, deadlift, and pull-ups.

Below are pictures of the group after the lift-a-thon and of the winners of the contests.

Team B raised the most money. The team included Gray Rardon, Caleb Wright, Bowe Ussery, Ryker Fortner, Michael Parsons, and Kash Holt.

Team A lifted the most weight. This team included Hector Garcia, Lane Hamilton, Mitchell Walker, Scotty Briggs, Hudson Wilson, and Reed Mitchell.

Top fundraiser was Henry Frank.

The Tigers have been working hard this summer and will kick off the football season by hosting their jamboree on Friday, August 21 starting at 6:00 p.m.

If your child finished the 2025-2026 school year at Princeton R-V and will be returning for the 2026-2027 school year, please log in to your Lumen Parent Portal to submit the registration forms.

This year, GRM Networks celebrates 75 years of service to residents of northern Missouri and southern Iowa. Since its inception, GRM Networks has been committed to supporting the communities it serves. Continuing that legacy, GRM Networks is proud to donate $2,000 to the Princeton R-5 School in Princeton, Missouri, to help support its new Tiger Trades class. This innovative program will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities, practical workforce skills and a unique classroom experience that helps prepare them for successful careers in the skilled trades.

🏠 Tiger Trades Breaks Ground on First Residential Project

Princeton R-V officially broke ground Monday, August 10, on the first home to be constructed through the new Tiger Trades program. Approximately 40 community members gathered at noon to support the program and its students. School administrators introduced Tiger Trades instructor Fred Stinson and the students who will bring the project to life.

This project was made possible by the Patterson Family Foundation, which awarded the district a $300,000 grant to establish Tiger Trades and launch its first residential construction project. The program will provide students with hands-on experience, industry-recognized credentials and practical skills while helping address Princeton’s need for quality housing.

Additional community support has included a generous donation from a local individual to help provide each student with his own set of tools. GRM Networks also recently donated $2,000 to Tiger Trades as part of its 75th anniversary celebration and continued commitment to the communities it serves.

Concrete work is expected to begin next week. Students will begin construction during the first week of September after completing their OSHA 10 construction-safety training.

🥎💙 **Come Support the PHS Lady Tigers!** 💙🥎

Join us for the Lady Tiger Hit-a-Thon Fundraiser on Tuesday, August 18th at 6:00 PM at the Russ Derry Sports Complex!

Our Lady Tigers will compete in a Hit-a-Thon, Home Run Derby, and Running Event while raising money to help update equipment and facilities for our softball program.
