Malden is another school with LOTS of Monarch butterfly knowledge. the students had the best time impressing my with things that they may have learned just this year or remembered from their past classroom experiences!

JFK students loved learning how butterflies help pollinate our plants. Without pollinations we would not have seeds... no future plants and not foods the contain seeds! Crazy to think that tiny insects help the farmers produce all those fruits and vegetables that we enjoy.

This year I am excited to be visiting grades Pre-k - 5th grade at Ladd Grade School! The students were very excited to see what I would bring to their classrooms and the teachers were very welcoming! Thanks so much for inviting me into your busy schedules!

Lincoln Elementary 3rd & 4th grade students enjoyed creating the life cycle of the butterfly using pasta noodles. Check out their artistic efforts in making it all appear life like!

Mrs. Robinson's 1st grade class at Allen Grade School have had so many amazing Monarch life cycle experiences! They have released several butterflies and have many more moving throughout the phases. The kids LOVED telling all about the things they had learned and check out the last pictures...one student said their "caterpillar" we made together formed its chrysalis! ❤🦋

Dalzell Grade School K-6th grade students loved learning all about the importance of butterflies as one of the pollinators that help farmers produce the food we eat - remember 1 in every 3 bites of food we eat if a product of pollination!🦋🐝

We started our week in Kindergarten at Douglas Elementary! The students loved recreating the life cycle of a butterfly and then creating their very own monarch caterpillar. They also got to practice their patterning skills as these caterpillars are black, yellow and white!🦋🐛
