Princeton Senior High School senior Emma Parker has been named an All American with the National Speech and Debate Association for the 2025-2026 academic year.

According to NSDA officials, only the top 25-point earners in a field of more than 141,000 students earn the coveted title.

“To have a student place among the very best students in the association is a tribute to outstanding coaching and dedicated leadership,” NSDA executive director Scott Wunn said in his notification. “It also indicates strong support for speech and debate education from your school. Both elements are indispensable in helping talented young people reach their full potential.”

Emma’s last year in high school speech and debate is already off to a good start.

“Emma is currently the top point earner in all of Texas and Top 4 in the entire United States,” said Heather Stringer, who is not only Emma’s speech and debate coach at PSHS, she’s also her mom.

Emma and her teammates are dedicated to the speech and debate program and spend most weekends honing their craft at competitive tournaments across the state and country.

Mr. Wunn congratulated Emma on the achievement, as well as everyone affiliated with the outstanding program.

“The hard work invested to achieve this distinction will pay dividends for years to come,” he said. “Keep up the good work, and best wishes for another successful season.”
