The largest tryout class in PRINCETON HS history. Started with 134 applications, 115 of those applicants attended parent meeting, 105 of the applicants made it through first round of teacher evaluations, and 82 of those candidates completed the tryout process. Leaving us with our largest group of high school cheerleaders yet. We want to say congratulations to 66 candidates that are now a part of a PISD HS cheer squads. 31 members on Varisty, 22 members on JV, 11 on Freshman team and 2 mascots.

We appreciate all those that showed interest in HS Cheer this year. We had a great time working with each you. Congratulations to the new 2025-2026 Cheer Team for those that were successful.

It's at LOVELADY HIGH SCHOOL . Drop off participants in the back by the gyms. Return at 2:30pm for cheer show offs.
Attire: athletic clothes and shoes and hair pulled back out of face.
Bring a refillable water bottle and heavy snack to carry you over until lunch.

Weekend two of competing made some quick adjustments based on last week's critiques. We executed most of them effectively but have some more time to develop them at our next competition in December. We're growing and we're getting better and on the road to State. .
