Congratulations to all award winners from Class Day 2026. Special thanks to all Mathey Senior Class Council leaders involved in organizing, including President Minna Abdella, Treasurer Shannon Yeow, Secretary Kriti Garg, and Social Chair Aarushi Adlakha.
Mathey students receiving Class Day awards included:
George Tidmore received the Allen Macy Dulles ’51 Award. George’s degree is in German with minors in African American studies and creative writing.
Brian Mhando received the Frederick Douglass Service Award. Brian majored in ecology and evolutionary biology major with minors in African studies, African American studies, and global health and health policy.
Minna Abdella received the W. Sanderson Detwiler 1903 Prize. Minna’s degree is in politics.
