Princeton's own Hannah Wiswell is heading to the Ivy+ 3MT virtual stage and we hope you'll join us to cheer her on.

Wiswell, a Princeton MAE doctoral student, won Princeton's inaugural Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition this spring, earning her spot to represent Princeton University alongside winners from Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Princeton, Stanford, the University of California, Berkeley, the University of Chicago, the University of Pennsylvania, and Yale.

The showcase is Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 3-5pm ET on Zoom and it's open to everyone.

3MT challenges graduate student researchers to present their work and its significance to a general audience in just three minutes. The Ivy+ showcase highlights the extraordinary breadth of student research—from the humanities and social sciences to engineering, public health, and the natural sciences. Finalists will compete for awards and recognition.

If you have a graduate in your life from the Princeton Graduate School Class of 2026, we have good news: professional photographs from the Hooding and Recognition Ceremony and from University Commencement are now available — and we have pulled all the links together in one place.

On May 25, each graduate with an advanced degree was individually celebrated at the Hooding and Recognition Ceremony, and Ph.D. recipients had their doctoral hoods placed. The following day, graduate and undergraduate degrees were officially conferred at Commencement.

Highlights include links to individual photos taken on the Hooding stage, student and family photos from the post-Commencement reception in Frick lobby, University photography and video from both ceremonies and a gallery of hi-res images from the Graduate School’s social media coverage.

The Graduate School's Hooding and Recognition Ceremony will take place as planned outside on Cannon Green on May 25, 2026. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Please note that due to the weekend rain, the grounds are soggy and a bit muddy. Please dress accordingly. We recommend water-resistant footwear for everyone attending.
