Looking for a bigger adventure this summer?

The Maine Woodcraft Program is a two-week experience for campers ready to take their outdoor skills to the next level.

In week one, we’ll build confidence through hands-on skill-building—like axemanship🪓, fire building🔥, first aid🩹, canoeing🛶, and wilderness cooking🍳.

Over the weekend, we’ll pack up and head out on a multi-day backcountry trip, where campers will live at a remote site and put their skills to the test.

In week two, we’ll return to camp to keep learning and growing—diving deeper into wilderness skills while enjoying classic camp activities.

It’s an unforgettable adventure that builds leadership, self-reliance, and a stronger connection to the outdoors.

In one week, you'll develop outdoor instruction skills, learn how to facilitate low ropes challenge course elements, master group leadership, spend time paddling Bryant pond, and dive deep into conflict resolution—all while having an incredible time in the great outdoors!

🎣 Fishing Adventures at Greenland Point! 🏕️

Whether your camper is just getting started or ready to fish like a pro, Greenland Point 4-H Camp has the perfect fishing experience! Located on the beautiful Long Lake, our camps offer hands-on fishing instruction, exciting challenges, and all the classic summer camp fun!

🌊 Fishing Camp– Learn to fish for trout, bass, and other freshwater species while exploring fish ecology, water habitats, and conservation. Campers will practice using different lures, baits, and techniques in search of “the big one!” Plus, they’ll have the chance to earn their Maine Boater Safety Certification during the week.

🎣 Hooked on Bass– This program is for anglers looking to fish like a pro! Campers will master spin-casting techniques, learn to use topwater, plastics, and spinnerbaits, and compete in a tournament-style fishing challenge to earn points throughout the week. The winner will take home the Greenland Point Bassmaster Championship Award! Plus, campers will take an exciting ocean fishing trip to try their hand at mackerel fishing!

🏕️ Both camps also include: Swimming, canoeing, archery, hiking, survival skills, campfires, and more!
