We have been in business since 1985. We take pride in teaching, caring for and loving the children in our center. We are currently a 3 Star facility, working on our fourth. All staff have at least 5 years of experience in early childhood. Fingerprinting and criminal history checks on each employee. Random drug screening on employees. Each staff member is trained in SIDS, CPR and First Aid. Staff receive work shop trainings annually.

🚀 Calling All PDC Families – Join Our Teacher Appreciation Mission!

Good afternoon PDC families,

We are getting ready for Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4–8) and this year’s theme is…
🌎✨ “Out of This World!” ✨🚀

Our teachers are truly the stars of PDC, and while administration has a full week of surprises planned, we’re inviting our families to join us on this special appreciation mission in a fun and meaningful way!

Instead of repeating the same daily themes, families will help us complete our mission by adding something personal, creative, and full of love throughout the week:

🚀 Mission #1: “Message from Mission Control”
Send in a note, drawing, or letter letting your teacher know why they are out of this world
(These mean more than you know!)

🌟 Mission #2: “Star Power Shoutouts”
Want to spotlight your child’s teacher? You have two ways to submit your shoutout:
• Visit our website and head to the Anonymous Parent Shoutout tab
• OR send your message directly through the administration message portal in Brightwheel (non-anonymous)

We’ll be sharing these shoutouts throughout the week on Brightwheel and our page as Teacher Appreciation progresses—so our teachers can feel the love in real time 💜

🪐 Mission #3: “Surprise from Space” (Optional)
If you’d like to send a small gift, feel free to surprise your teacher anytime during the week with something thoughtful (favorite snack, drink, flowers, etc.)

👩🏽‍🚀 Mission #4: “Future Astronaut Spirit” (Optional & Fun!)
Have your child join the theme by wearing space-themed outfits or fun colors during the week

As always, you have full freedom to bless your teachers in whatever way feels right to you—these are simply fun, creative, theme-inspired ideas to help you join us in showing appreciation to our amazing staff.

Our goal is to surround our teachers with appreciation from every direction—administration, students, and families 💜

If you’ve seen our flyer, you’ll notice each day has a special theme planned by us for staff —your role helps bring the heart behind the mission.

📸 Picture Day Announcement – Please Read

Good afternoon families,

We’re excited to share that Picture Day is coming up at Princeton Daycare Center! This year, we will be partnering with Lifetouch for student photos.

After reviewing previous experiences, we have decided to move away from the green screen option used in prior years. While we loved the creativity, it presented challenges—especially for our infants, toddlers, and younger children—due to positioning and comfort. We are confident this change will allow for a smoother and more enjoyable experience for all children.

📅 Picture Day Details:

Date: Tuesday, April 21, 2026
Start Time: 7:00 AM (please arrive on time)
Only ONE picture day this year (no makeup day available)

Due to changes in scheduling requirements, we are only able to host one picture day unless a higher number of students are guaranteed. Because of this, attendance on this day is extremely important.

📷 What to Expect:

Individual (solo) photos
Sibling photos (if requested)
Cap & Gown photos for our Pre-K graduates 🎓

🚨 Important Reminder for Pre-K Families:
We kindly ask that all Pre-K graduates are in attendance on this day to ensure they are included in their cap and gown photos.

Good evening PDC families,

Due to the forecast of severe weather conditions, including strong winds expected in our area tomorrow, and the closure of Johnston County Public Schools, Princeton Daycare Center will be closed on Monday, March 16, 2026.

With the expected weather conditions and limited staffing availability, we believe it is in the best interest of our children, families, and staff to prioritize safety and avoid potential travel hazards.

At this time, we plan to resume normal operations on Tuesday, unless weather conditions change. If any updates are necessary, we will communicate them promptly.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our PDC community safe.

Good evening Princeton Daycare Center families and staff,

Due to inclement weather, Princeton Daycare Center will operate on a 2.5-hour delay tomorrow january 27th 2026 to allow time for road conditions to improve.

🕘 We will open at 9:00 AM.

This delay is being implemented to help ensure safer travel conditions for our families and staff. Please use your best judgment when traveling and allow yourself extra time in the morning.

📣 Attention all PDC families and staff,

Due to the forecasted weather, dropping temperatures, and the increased likelihood of precipitation, PDC will be operating on a two-hour delay tomorrow.

This means we will not open at 6:30 AM, but instead at 8:30 AM, to ensure safe and manageable travel conditions for our staff and families.

We will continue to monitor conditions closely and will provide any additional updates through Facebook, Brightwheel, and SMS if needed.
