Outdoor Action is Princeton University's outdoor education and leadership development program.

For over 40 years OA has served Princeton through the annual Frosh Trip outdoor orientation program for incoming freshmen, through the Leader Training program which trains current students to be leaders and role models to incoming students on the Frosh Trip, and alumni through on-campus events and outdoor-based adventure travel trips.

OA’s Equipment Room (ER) Thursdays begins TONIGHT, June 11, and is every Thursday this summer through July 30.

Help OA sort and check equipment from 5:30-7:30pm; dinner is provided at 7:30!

Let’s get ready for Orientation 2026 so that we can welcome the class of 2023 in style!

Sign up for an OA Support Team or the Command Center! www.outdooraction.Princeton.edu

Support Teams are mobile response units that deliver supplies and help OA groups that are on the trail. Lodging, meals & transportation provided.

Command Center personnel stay on campus, answer phones in the call center and solve problems for OA groups.
