Princeton Junior School is an International Baccalaureate elementary school dedicated to the education of young learners from early childhood (age 2) through Grade 6. New experiences, new interests, and a joyful end to the day! ✨

On C Days, PJS students spend their final period exploring Beyond the Classroom electives. This fall’s offerings include World Languages, PJS Penguin Radio, Glitter Lemonade service learning, woodworking, mountain biking, and more. Students have the opportunity to try something different, develop new skills, connect with classmates, and discover interests.

Our mountain bikers made the most of the beautiful weather while exploring campus today. 🚲 We’re excited to see where these new experiences take our students throughout the fall!

Passionate about 3D printing, Ayden wanted to explore how this technology is transforming lives in the medical field.

For his Grade 6 Exhibition, Ayden researched how affordable 3D-printed medical devices are increasing access to care around the world. Inspired by what he learned, he designed and printed a fully functional prosthetic hand that he plans to donate to a child in Morocco through a nonprofit organization.

Ayden's project is a powerful reminder that innovation is at its best when it helps improve the lives of others.

As we conclude our Grade 6 Exhibition series, we're incredibly proud of every student who turned their curiosity into inquiry, their learning into action, and their passions into meaningful change. We can't wait to see where their journeys lead next.

Our faculty is busy sprucing up the schoolhouse, preparing classrooms, and adding all touches as we get ready to welcome our students back to PJS next week! 🌈✨

We’re also thrilled to give a very special welcome to our new Spanish teacher, Señora Rosie! 🇪🇸🌎 She can’t wait to meet our students and begin exploring language and culture together.

As Señora Rosie reminds us, “Un idioma diferente es una visión diferente de la vida.”

A different language is a different vision of life. 💛

What a way to wrap up the summer! ☀️

Our final week of camp was filled with games, slime, ice cream, a talent show, a DJ dance party, and the excitement of watching our butterflies emerge. 🦋 From big laughs to little moments, it was a season full of fun, friendship, and memories we’ll carry with us.

🎓 Grade 6 Exhibition Spotlight - Ewan 🌊

Ewan's passion for protecting sea turtles inspired him to explore the impact of plastic pollution on marine life.

Through his Grade 6 Exhibition, Ewan researched the causes of ocean pollution and shared practical ways people can help reduce plastic waste. He also educated younger students about turtle conservation and encouraged donations to the Loggerhead Marine Life Center, helping others understand how small actions can make a big difference.

Ewan's project reminds us that caring for our planet begins with caring for the creatures that call it home.

Wanting to better understand one of the biggest concerns facing students today, Sayla chose to explore gun violence in schools and the importance of creating safer learning environments.

Through her Grade 6 Exhibition, Sayla researched the causes and impacts of school gun violence, current gun laws, and efforts being made to improve school safety. Her project reflects the courage to ask difficult questions and the belief that informed conversations can help inspire meaningful change.

Sayla's inquiry reminds us that challenging topics deserve thoughtful exploration, and that young people have an important role in shaping safer communities.
