Yesterday was the International Day of Peace. 🕊️ In preparation, Lower Elementary students explored what peace means and how people around the world observe it. In the classroom, students discussed ways to create a peaceful community and decorated wooden peace ornaments to take home as a reminder that peace starts close to home. 💚

🌎✨ Our Upper School students are kicking off the school year with the first of the Five Great Lessons, a beloved Montessori tradition that inspires curiosity, wonder, and a deeper understanding of our world.

This year, the lessons bring our Upper School community together, with teachers sharing each story and students working across programs to reflect, create, and explore. Our Middle School students are also taking on a special leadership role throughout the experience.

We can’t wait to see their Great Lesson-inspired artwork at Back to School Night! 🎨💚
