Greetings to everyone! Sadhguru’s vision has begun to materialize!
It is with utmost humility that I introduce you all to Isha Yogashala | Classical Hatha Yoga Offerings.
Designed as dedicated spaces for deepening one's’ experience of Hatha Yoga practices, this July we have opened the very first Isha yogashalas, one in Shakespeare Sarani and the other in Salt Lake. I welcome everyone to come explore the spaces and utilize them for your immediate and ultimate wellbeing.
There are opportunities to register for a variety of workshops, and to sign up for 1, 3, 6, or 12 month memberships for regular guided sessions by certified Isha Hatha Yoga Teachers.
Our first batch of yogashala teachers have gathered from across India and around the world to offer these practices in their full depth and dimension.
This project, the next step in my own evolution as an Isha Hatha Teacher, is a privilege. And, I encourage you all to come and use this space for your own wellbeing and that of your close friends and family.

I was extremely privileged to conduct an Angamardana class for my Princeton Varsity Squash team last month.
One of the comments from a teammate - “I think the practice has been extremely beneficial for improving not only my physical capacities including strength and flexibility, but also my mental and spiritual focus. Vivek did a great job of teaching us, starting slowly so we could all understand the movements before incorporating speed into the routine. After the class ended, I felt ready to do the practice on my own, and now I do it every day.”
The practice Angamardana helps you gain complete mastery over the limbs, organs, and other parts of the body. True to its name, this practice revitalizes the body on all levels including the muscles, circulatory system, skeletal structure, nervous system, and the basic energy system. With exercises carefully selected by Sadhguru to be of universal appeal and application, this needs no fitness equipment. It uses only the body and can be practiced anywhere, even during travel.

Here are a few pictures of the two Bhuta Shuddhi classes I conducted a few weeks ago in Calcutta. A big thank you to all those who attended the class, it was a truly wonderful experience.
To those of you who don't know what Bhuta Shuddhi is, it literally means the "purification of the elements". Now, the basis for all creation, including the physical body, is the group of five elements: earth, water, wind, fire, and space. The wellbeing of our body and mind can be greatly established by purifying these five elements that are within each one of us.

This August during my 3-week summer break in Calcutta, I conducted a Surya Kriya, Yogasanas and Bhuta Shuddhi class. It was a wonderful experience touching so many lives in such a short period of time. I thought I’d share some of the pictures that were taken during these classes.
