✨ What an incredible 5 weeks of Summer Dance Camps! ☀️💃

Over the past five weeks, over 150 dancers joined us for an unforgettable summer of learning, growing, and having fun! From energetic Jazz & Hip Hop to expressive Contemporary & Lyrical, our dancers challenged themselves every step of the way.

They built strength through conditioning, sharpened their technique with jumps & turns, discovered new elements of creative movement, and let their imaginations shine through creating their own choreography.

We are so proud of every dancer who showed up ready to learn, work hard, and make new friends. Thank you for making this summer one to remember!

We can't wait to see everyone back in the studio this season! ❤️🩰

Before Show 2 wows the stage, I’d like to take a minute to honor our eighth grade graduates (minus one who is still running track). Give them an extra round of applause this weekend.

So excited for show that we could burst. Break a leg, dancers. See you at 6 Show 1.

The last senior spotlight is always so bittersweet. This week we honor Miss (Queen) Avery Waca! Avery has been dancing since she was 5 years old and has been an award winning member of the MSDA Company. Her favorite styles are lyrical and jazz and her favorite routine is “Shake Your Groove Thing” from all the way back in 2017.

Avery will be graduating from PHS this Saturday and has been involved in Cross Country, Track, and Poms. Following high school, Avery will be attending IVCC to begin her degree in Elementary Education and will also be running Cross Country.

Avery’s favorite memories are all the endless laughs and friendships she has made at dance throughout the years. Her advice to our younger dancers is to live in the moment, because time flies, and to never be afraid to talk to people and make new friends.

Miss Avery, you bring such a light and positive presence to class and to the stage. We know amazing things are ahead of you and we can’t wait to watch you conquer it all. Shine bright, Miss Avery!

Our next Senior Spotlight is Miss Julianna! Juliana has been dancing for 9 years and has been an assistant in our preschool classes. Her favorite style is contemporary and her favorite routine performed is “Us” from Spring 2025.

Throughout high school, dance became more than movement for Juliana; it became a place for creativity, discipline, and self-expression. From memorable performances to friendships built in the studio, Juliana has made the most of every moment and leaves behind a lasting impact.

Juliana’s favorite memory was when she found a rock in her ballet shoe. Her advice to our younger students is to watch other dancers and to learn from them.

Miss Juliana, you have been such a bright light in class and onstage. We can’t wait to see what you do next! Shine bright, Miss Juliana!
