Senior spotlight time! This week we recognize Miss Kalista!

Kalista has been dancing for 8 years and has been an assistant in our beginner classes for 2 years. Her favorite style of dance is ballet and her favorite routine is Applause from last spring recital.

Kalista is a senior at Princeton High School and is a member of the PHS Book Club and GSA. Kalista will be attending Augustana College this Fall to study History Education.

Kalista’s favorite dance memory is dancing with her cousins and getting hugs from them during recitals. Her advice to our younger dancers is to keep trying in class and to never give up. Always remember that you’re doing amazing!

Miss Kalista, we are going to miss you beyond measure! You have been such an amazing inspiration to all of our students and we are excited to watch you continue in your education journey. Shine bright, Miss Kalista!

Our next Senior Spotlight is Miss Bianka!

Bianka has been dancing since she was in 7th grade and has been an assistant in our beginner classes for 2 years. Her favorite style of dance is ballet, jazz, and lyrical and her favorite routine was a lyrical, Cigarette Daydream.

Bianka is a senior at PHS and is involved in madrigals, jazz band, choir, band, symphonic band, theater, Star Spangled Singers, and International Thespian Society.

Bianka plans on attending IVCC followed by Eastern Illinois University and will be working toward a degree in elementary education to hopefully teach second grade.

Bianka’s favorite MSDA memory is the applause they receive at the end of the Holiday Show finale. Her advice to our younger dancers is to never give up on your passions.

Miss Bianka, you are such a joy in class and on the stage. We can’t wait to see what you accomplish in the future! Shine bright, Miss Bianka!

Countdown to recital is on! We are honored to highlight our seniors ✨

Our first Senior Spotlight is Chloe Miller! Chloe has been dancing at MSDA since she was 3 years old. Her favorite style is lyrical and her favorite routine is the Holiday Show finale.

Chloe is graduating from PHS where she has been involved in choir. She will be attending IVCC this fall and pursuing a career in early childhood education.

Chloe’s favorite memories at MSDA are Miss Lindsay’s conversations and storytelling. Her advice to our younger dancers is to work hard and never stop dancing.

Miss Chloe, we have loved being a part of your dance journey and can’t wait to follow along in your future endeavors. Shine bright, Miss Chloe!

Closed tonight 3/10
An abundance of caution, dance families. I’ve heard from several families that they won’t be in tonight due to weather. I’d rather cancel and keep everyone safe and sound at home.

We will be keeping Tuesday 5-7pm an extra half hour (5-7:30) each week in March to make up for this cancellation.
