Dr. Elaine T. James, Professor of Old Testament Literature at Princeton Theological Seminary, is exploring the question through her latest research on the Bible’s stories of making, materials, and the natural world.

From the Tower of Babel and the tabernacle to music, food, and textiles, James examines what these stories can reveal about human creativity—and how we might think differently about our relationship with the world we inhabit.

The Joe R. Engle Organ Concert: Dwelling in the Psalms 🎶

Join Princeton Theological Seminary on September 18 in the Princeton Seminary Chapel for an evening of music inspired by the book of Psalms.

The concert will feature guest performers Brandon Boyd, Ahreum Han Congdon, Evelyn Simpson-Curenton, and Eric Wall, as well as composer Eurydice Osterman and the Princeton Seminary Chapel Choir, directed by Martin Tel.

The program will explore the depth and breadth of the Psalter through organ works, improvisation, choral music, and congregational singing, including a commissioned choral anthem based on Psalm 46.
