Anya will run a library sponsored series program on French at the Montgomery Public Library this summer on July 30, August 13 & 27! 🤩 👏

Welcome back Captain Rightmire! 👨‍✈️

Captain Rightmire, a FASP parent, First Officer at Southwest Airlines and trainer of 'Adopt-A-Pilot' program, is a regular visitor to our Grade 5 class!

Captain Rightmire visited for a second time this year to continue his aviation discussions with our students - this time with a special emphasis on Meteorology and the tools pilots use to navigate around the weather.

Thank you Captain for bringing a fresh perspective to our classrooms, the students love your visits! ✈️

The 8th graders brought back stories of fun times shared together in Curaçao and many more stories of growth and discovery!

FASP’s 8th grade graduation trip celebrates an important milestone in our students’ academic journey. During the trip, we saw confidence soar as the students navigated through so many new experiences together, building an even stronger bond and fostering greater autonomy along the way.

Throughout the trip, the students delved into Curaçao's unique blend of Dutch, African, and Caribbean influences, gaining insights into colonial history, language, and architecture. While engaging with new communities, students learned to appreciate cultural diversity and develop cross-cultural communication skills.

This engaging experience fostered an appreciation for the complexities of Caribbean history and enabled students to discover a great deal about the country’s art, music, environment and marine life!

This amazing hands on camping experience is a highly anticipated one by our students, one that fosters self-reliance and a deep appreciation for nature.

There's so much in store over the next 3 days from team building games, a confidence course, day and night hikes to classes in sustainability, orienteering, ecology and geology.
