Finally, blue skies and sunny days are just around the corner! 🌞 🌸🌳🏞️
And, of course, our young legends have wasted no time immersing themselves back into the elements. It has been a long awaited, wonderfully freeing, mud-filled, puddle jumping, good time over here at Sunbeam this past week. 💧🌨️☺️
We also want to highlight the pride we feel at how focused, determined, nurturing, and curious these students have remained even on our many indoor days the last two months. We have witnessed their continuing blooming growth, despite their sudden four wall environment. 🌱
Every student has played a vital role, creatively finding ways to keep outdoor curriculum alive while indoors. Here are a few things we have been up to,
-Exercising healthy communication, learning how to express our emotions 🗣️☮️
-Learning how to help others and take care of the creatures on Earth through pretend play ❤️🩹
-Gross motor skills through obstacle courses and a field trip to Stick It Tumbling!🤸
-Baking and using real tools to build fine motor skills👨🍳🛠️
-Learning shapes while playing in the snow!❄️🤍
-Deepening relationships with one another and even fostering new ones!🫂🫶
