💚🍀What an incredible week at the 2026 Kentucky 4-H Teen Conference in Lexington, June 2-5!

Three delegates from Caldwell County joined over 500 Kentucky 4-H teens came together for four days filled with learning, leadership, service, and lifelong memories. Addi Hopper, Wyatt Dickerson and Harper Ritchey had the opportunity to expereince Cloverfest activities and engaging majors and minors, to meaningful service projects, our delegates experienced the very best that Kentucky 4-H has to offer.

🍀One of the highlights of the week was the Achievement Awards Assembly, where outstanding 4-H members from across the Commonwealth were recognized for their accomplishments and dedication to the program. Wyatt Dickerson was recognized for receiving the Silver Achievement Award and Harper Ritchey received the award for Program Area Champion for Leadership. Congratulations to these two! 🏆

The Kentucky 4-H State Officers retired their green jackets in the closing ceremony and the incoming state officers were installed. Harper Ritchey served as the Kentucky 4-H Vice-President in 2025-2026. She has represented Kentucky 4-H well.

As another Teen Conference comes to an end, we're reminded that Kentucky 4-H is about more than projects and activities. It's about building leaders, helping others, and creating experiences that make a lasting impact. We look forward to another great year of
4-H!

💚🍀 I’m so proud of Harper and the way she carried herself this past year!! She has been a true light to KY 4-H at the county, area and state level over the past 11 years! 💚🍀

How it started ➡️ How it’s going

With family working at the University of Kentucky Research and Education Center, Harper Ritchey has always been connected to UK Extension. Her earliest memory is the 4-H Country Ham Project.

This week, she finishes an incredible year of leadership as your 4-H State Vice President! Harper isn't going far as she will be heading into her sophomore year at UK in the fall.

Thank you, Harper, for guiding Kentucky 4-H, and good luck!
