On April 20th at 5pm, we will be having the Mujerista Symposium! Join some members of the current E-Board as well as special guests Dr. Ada María Isasi-Díaz and Dr. Isasi-Díaz as we discuss the topic Sentipensar: Latin American Orientation to Care and Relations.

The Mujerista Symposium seeks to continue that tradition of protest and resistance laid out by Dr. Ada María Isasi-Díaz by creating a space where Latina leaders and theologians will, as Dr. Isasi-Díaz said, “provide insights and understandings regarding norms, values, virtues, and understandings of the divine that are life-giving instead of silencing the cries of the poor.”

En Conjunto

On December 5th we are having a Parranda event! A Parranda is a Puerto Rican tradition of going house to house and singing coritos (or carols). We will be replicating this by attending the houses of different professors. We invite you all to join us for this, and to invite anyone who might enjoy participating!

We will meet at Brown Hall at 6pm to give you music. Snacks will be provided, and we encourage you to dress warmly.
