🎓✨ **A NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR TIGERS!** ✨🎓

Today, Caldwell County Middle School celebrated the official launch of **JAG – Jobs for America’s Graduates** at CCMS with a special **ribbon cutting ceremony and officer induction!** 💙💛

JAG is helping our students explore their strengths, develop leadership skills, learn about career opportunities, and build the skills they need to be successful in school, work, and life. We are excited to see all the ways this program will empower our students to become confident **future leaders!**

A special thank you to our CCMS JAG Specialist, **Mrs. Wendy McKinney**, for leading this program and investing in our students! We are so excited about the opportunities JAG will bring to CCMS.

A huge thank you to the **Optimist Club** for supporting our JAG program and to **Food Giant** for their generous donations that helped make today's celebration special. We are thankful for community partners who continue to invest in the success of our students! 💙💛

We would also like to extend a special thank you to **Stephanie Rickman**, our keynote speaker and JAG Regional Programs Manager, for joining us, sharing words of encouragement with our students, and helping us celebrate this exciting new chapter at CCMS.

We are so proud of these students for stepping up to lead and represent our JAG program! We can't wait to watch them **grow, lead, serve, and make a difference** at CCMS and in our community.

🏛️📚 History Comes to Life at CCMS! 📚🏛️

Our 6th graders in Mrs. Jackson’s Social Studies classes have been hard at work bringing history to life through their Early Civilization Village projects! 🌎 From homes and farms to important community structures, students researched early civilizations and used their creativity to build 3-D models showcasing how people lived, worked, and organized their communities.

We are so proud of the time, effort, and creativity our students put into these projects! What a fun way to learn about the past while building a deeper understanding of the civilizations that helped shape our world! 👏💙💛

🦆💡 6TH GRADE STEM CHALLENGE! 💡🦆

Our 6th grade students in Ms. Smith's STEM class put their creativity and engineering skills to the test with a fun challenge: design a comfortable chair for a rubber ducky! 🪑

The catch? Students could only use a 4-inch by 4-inch piece of paper and a small amount of tape to create a chair that could hold as much weight as possible!

Our students did an OUTSTANDING job designing unique chairs and putting their problem-solving skills to work! A few of our engineers even created chairs strong enough to hold an impressive 5-pound weight! 🤯👏

This challenge was a great opportunity for our Tigers to practice the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People! Students used Habit 1: Be Proactive by taking initiative, Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind by planning their designs, and Habit 6: Synergize by using creative thinking and learning from the design process. They also practiced perseverance when their first ideas didn't go as planned!

We love seeing our Tigers take ownership of their learning, think outside the box, and build the skills they need to become future leaders! 💙💛🐅

🐯💙💛 OUR FIRST PEP RALLY WAS A SUCCESS! 💛💙🐯

The energy was HIGH at CCMS today as we held our first Pep Rally Assembly of the year! 📣🎉

Our Tigers brought the school spirit, cheered on their classmates, competed in some fun challenges, and showed us what CCMS PRIDE is all about! 🐯🔥

🏆 And the winner of the Spirit Stick… THE 7TH GRADE! 🥳👏 They brought the energy and earned those bragging rights!

A HUGE thank you to our students and staff for making today such a fun way to end the week! We love seeing our Tigers come together, support one another, and celebrate being part of the CCMS family.

Congratulations, 7th Grade! Keep that Spirit Stick safe! 😉

🎉 What an incredible FIRST Club Day of the 2026-2027 school year at CCMS! 🐾
Today was all about Synergy as our teachers, staff members, community partners, and visiting CCHS groups worked together to make the day an absolute success for our students! 🤝✨
Our student leaders had the opportunity to Sharpen the Saw and select two different clubs—one in the morning and one in the afternoon—giving everyone a chance to learn a new skill, meet new friends across grade levels, and explore their interests to Find Their Voice!
Here is a look at all the amazing options our Tigers got to choose from today:
☀️ Morning Clubs:
Art, Archery, Outdoor Club, Jr. Beta Club, Kindness Club, Independent Band, Sewing, Card Games, Bracelet Making, Photography, Pre-FFA, JAG, Chess, Reading, Disney, Girl Talk, and Coloring.
🌤️ PM Clubs:
Art, Archery, Outdoor Club, FISH, FBLA, Board Games, JAG, Puzzles, Young Men’s Club, Frightful Fiction, Cooking, Student Council, Karaoke, Independent Band, and 4-H.
Club Day gives our students a wonderful chance to enjoy their time at school in a whole new way, while also giving our teachers the chance to connect and learn even more about each student's unique strengths and gifts.

🎭 Lights, Camera, AMAZING! 🎭

Ms. Tadlock’s Theater class did an AMAZING job this afternoon with their performance of “Tasty Vegetables”!

We are so proud of these students for all of the time, effort, and hard work they put into preparing for their performance. They absolutely shined on stage and gave a stellar performance! 🌟
