The Stuart community is invited to gather this Saturday, August 8 at 10:00 AM in Cor Unum, in celebration of the life of Dora Law Bennett, who served as athletic director, coach and teacher at Stuart from 1985 to 2007.

Dora's legacy at Stuart is woven through decades of student-athletes she coached, teams she built and young leaders she inspired. She launched the cross country, track and field, and ice hockey programs, guided teams to multiple Prep "B" State championships, and spearheaded a 12-team Sacred Heart Basketball Tournament. In the classroom and on the field, she taught generations of Stuart girls the value of teamwork and commitment. Her contributions were honored in 2024 with her induction into the Stuart Athletic Hall of Fame.

Dora's family warmly welcomes all who wish to join in remembering and honoring her extraordinary life and impact on our community.

🎨 What an unforgettable afternoon! 🏛️

We were so lucky to kick off the weekend in the absolute best way last Friday! Leaving the sticky July heat behind to step into the cool, magnificent galleries of the new Princeton University Art Museum was pure bliss. ❄️✨

A huge thank you to our amazing tour guide, Joyce Felsenfeld (former Stuart faculty member)! Her incredible knowledge and passion brought the state-of-the-art spaces and stunning collections to life. 🌟

After soaking in all that art and culture, we kept the good vibes going by unwinding over a drink at Agricola just down the street. 🍹🍷

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a wonderful experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better Friday meetup! 👋❤️

THE DECADES CHALLENGE!
Look at these faces—this is our legacy.
Let’s show the current students what Stuart sisterhood is all about.

Stuart girls know two things to be true:
We love a good competition.
We always show up for each other.

Right now, we are launching the Decades Challenge—a friendly battle from the 1960s to the 2020s to see which decade can achieve the highest participation for The Stuart Fund. It’s not about how much you give; it’s about standing up to be counted for the next generation of Stuart girls.

Why your gift matters now? We have until June 30 to raise $51,000 to reach our Stuart Fund Goal of $710,000. Did you know that tuition only covers about 80% of the actual cost to educate each student? The Stuart Fund bridges that 20% gap, directly supporting our beloved teachers, traditions, and empowering environment that shaped all of us.

The $250+ Swag Raffle: Every alumna who makes a gift of $250 or more will be automatically entered into a raffle to win amazing, exclusive Stuart swag!

Give today at stuartschool.org/give (link in your inbox)!

Last week, we celebrated the powerhouse women of our alumnae network! ✨

Our NYC Bottles & Books event was one for the books (and the bottles!). We had the absolute best time bringing our community together and spotlighting some incredible alumnae talent:

📖 A captivating book talk with Bindu Bansinath ’14, author of the brilliant new debut novel Men Like Ours. (If you missed it, you can read the glowing New York Times Book Review here https://www.nytimes.com/2026/05/11/books/review/bindu-bansinath-men-like-ours.htm! 📰)

🍷 A flawless guided wine tasting by natural wine expert Katie Keith ’11 of Jenny & François.

🥗 Delicious eats courtesy of Kelly Fitzpatrick ‘04, owner of Blue Park Kitchen.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the conversation, the wine, and the community. We are so proud of this network!

Four years ago, we sent the Class of 2022 off with cupcakes and confidence. This month, they cross stages across the country as college graduates. Stuart girls, through every chapter. Congratulations. 💚🤍

We are so grateful for the Stuart alumnae who continue to give their time and talent to our students.

Rebecca Clark Andrino ‘92 joined Stuart’s photography class virtually this month, sharing her work as a fine art and studio photographer. Her advice was simple: photograph everything until your style finds you.

Taylor Mills ‘16 joined two Women in Leadership classes this month to share her journey into nonprofit leadership at Strive in NYC. Taylor was also honored during Alumnae Weekend as the recipient of the 2026 Young Alumnae Award.

She encouraged Stuart’s young leaders to try everything before settling on their path. “Take every class that interests you. You will eventually find what your heart wants to do,” Taylor shared.

Taylor originally thought she would pursue a career in the lab science field, but she fell in love with sociology. She credits her community service experiences at Stuart with helping shape that passion.
