Last week, we celebrated the powerhouse women of our alumnae network! ✨

Our NYC Bottles & Books event was one for the books (and the bottles!). We had the absolute best time bringing our community together and spotlighting some incredible alumnae talent:

📖 A captivating book talk with Bindu Bansinath ’14, author of the brilliant new debut novel Men Like Ours. (If you missed it, you can read the glowing New York Times Book Review here https://www.nytimes.com/2026/05/11/books/review/bindu-bansinath-men-like-ours.htm! 📰)

🍷 A flawless guided wine tasting by natural wine expert Katie Keith ’11 of Jenny & François.

🥗 Delicious eats courtesy of Kelly Fitzpatrick ‘04, owner of Blue Park Kitchen.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the conversation, the wine, and the community. We are so proud of this network!

Four years ago, we sent the Class of 2022 off with cupcakes and confidence. This month, they cross stages across the country as college graduates. Stuart girls, through every chapter. Congratulations. 💚🤍

We are so grateful for the Stuart alumnae who continue to give their time and talent to our students.

Rebecca Clark Andrino ‘92 joined Stuart’s photography class virtually this month, sharing her work as a fine art and studio photographer. Her advice was simple: photograph everything until your style finds you.

Taylor Mills ‘16 joined two Women in Leadership classes this month to share her journey into nonprofit leadership at Strive in NYC. Taylor was also honored during Alumnae Weekend as the recipient of the 2026 Young Alumnae Award.

She encouraged Stuart’s young leaders to try everything before settling on their path. “Take every class that interests you. You will eventually find what your heart wants to do,” Taylor shared.

Taylor originally thought she would pursue a career in the lab science field, but she fell in love with sociology. She credits her community service experiences at Stuart with helping shape that passion.

We’re spotlighting a Stuart Alumnae Gallery honoree — and what a story it is. 🌟

Nathalie Verhaegen Emerle ‘06 arrived at Stuart in 6th grade and found her place. She went on to captain our ice hockey team 🏒, dig into history research, and have one of those classroom moments that changes everything — a stream survey in Dr. Soos’s AP Environmental Science class that showed her how science and nature come together.

That moment stuck. Nathalie went on to earn a degree from NYU and a law degree from Fordham, then spent years at the NJ Department of Environmental Protection fighting for environmental justice and the communities who need it most ⚖️. This spring, she joined Governor Mikie Sherrill’s counsel team as Associate Counsel for the Environment 🌿.

From a student within the green brick halls to the halls of the State House — we couldn’t be more proud.

Join us on May 2 at our Alumnae Awards Lunch to celebrate Nathalie as she receives the Alumnae Gallery award. 🎉

Join us at Alumnae Weekend to celebrate all of our incredible award recipients.

We’re thrilled to honor the Class of 1996 with the Barbara Boggs Sigmund Award!💐

💿✨ We’re flipping through La Source 1996, curated by Editor-in-Chief Denise Ramzy ’96!

From their days in the halls to their incredible collective service today, these 34 alumnae embody “social awareness which impels to action.” Whether they are leading committees or supporting the next generation of Stuart girls, their commitment to the human condition and the Sacred Heart mission is a true masterclass in Cor Unum.
