Saturday morning April 4th there is a Full Moon Lunar eclipse in Libra. This is the second eclipse in a few short weeks (eclipses most often come in pairs) and is quite powerful and will set the stage for your personal development for the next 6 months until the next pair of eclipses occur.
Let's look at the symbolism of a Full Moon. The Sun is directly opposite the Moon, shining light on a planet that is dark. Full moons always reveal something to us "out of the shadows" but more specifically, it illuminates something in our shadow that we would most often prefer not to see. Remember that astrology does not make anything happen, it is simply reflecting our own inner process. During a full moon, something in our shadow is revealed to us so that we might transform it into the light, to help us grow and illuminate life more fully in our own unique way.
Now let's add to this a lunar eclipse during this Full Moon. The Earth will pass between the Sun and Moon and for a very brief period (literally 4 minutes and 43 seconds) and will create a shadow on the Moon. This shadow will appear red (also known as a Blood Moon), read ALERT, PAY ATTENTION! Eclipses symbolism endings and letting go of what is no longer serving you. Changes during an eclipse tend to be permanent and that can be quite unnerving. The universe is always concerned with growth, not comfort. However, with every ending is a new beginning; a new way to relate in a way that is more authentically you.
The Full Moon in Libra is all about relationships so you will be shown some shadow aspects of how you relate to others. How we relate to others is totally dependent on our self esteem and in many cases, relating comes from a place of low self-esteem. Do you relate out of co-dependency? Do you give and give and give and most often do not receive or are uncomfortable receiving? Do you tend to attract Vampires where you literally give all of your energy to a person who can never give anything back and have a sense of being emotionally drained all the time? Do you have healthy boundaries in relationships? Are your choices in line with your highest self or are they made from a place of the need for approval? Are you afraid to communicate your needs because experience has taught you that in relationship, your needs do not matter? In order to move to your next level of empowerment, you need to identify what is draining your energy and keeping you from illuminating life as your most brilliant, creative and unique self. The universe fully supports you in your quest for self-empowerment and will show you what isn't working in your relationships, who is toxic, and what needs to change.
Speaking of change, the Sun in Aries wants action, and Aries is all about the individual. The planet Uranus which is all about revolution (for your evolution), thinking outside of the box and radical change is conjuct this Aries Sun. The action you take will be totally different from your previous way of being and will come from a place of power for your personal growth. THIS TIME IT IS FOR YOU!!!!! You are worthy and you are enough. Imagine the choices you make when you come from this radical place of self acceptance and self love!. For most of us, this is a totally foreign concept but what is absolutely called for now. We all need to be seen, to be validated and to be loved. Simply because we are, we are enough. Approach all relationships from this place and see what the universe has to offer in terms of your relationships.
