We’re thrilled to celebrate Lizzy Shevelev ’15 as she takes the stage on Project Runway Season 22!

The entire Hun community will be cheering her on as she showcases her creativity and talent this season.

Coincidentally, for the past four years, Hun has offered a course called Redesigning Fashion as part of our NextTerm program. This course has allowed students to explore the world of sustainable fashion using natural fibers and eco-conscious design practices. Inspired by creators like Lizzy, students are given the opportunity to create hands-on design projects and take various field visits in diverse environments. Students are encouraged to discover what fashion and creativity mean to them, and perhaps one day, may follow in Lizzy’s footsteps.

As we approach the close of our fiscal year on June 30, the Hun community has already accomplished something extraordinary: together, we have raised a historic $1.375 million for the Hun Fund. Now, we need your help to reach our final goal of $1.5 million, and bring in the remaining $125,000!

To help us cross the finish line, members of the Board of Trustees have stepped forward with a special challenge. If we raise the remaining $125,000 by June 30, they will unlock an additional $25,000 for the Hun Fund — bringing our impact even further and helping us finish this historic year stronger than ever 💪

Philanthropy provides 10% of The Hun School’s operating budget each year. Half comes from annual gifts to The Hun Fund, and half comes from endowment support, helping bridge the gap between tuition revenue and the true cost of a Hun education ❤️ Every gift, no matter the size, helps provide the resources that make a Hun education exceptional.
