A special thank you to Katina Jones for capturing first-day-back photos of our staff as they attended meetings, collaborated with colleagues, and prepared their classrooms for the new school year. The energy and dedication throughout the building is inspiring to see. Much has already been accomplished, and while there is still more to do, our team is working hard to ensure everything is ready for a successful start.

Giant Food is marking its 90th birthday by continuing its commitment to fighting childhood hunger, and we’re proud that our school district is part of it!

Starting tomorrow, July 10 through Aug. 6, customers at Giant Food stores can support local students by simply choosing to round up at the register. Every small donation helps expand school meal programs and provide food for children in our community.

Over the past three years, this program has raised more than $1.8 million to support local school districts. Let’s keep that impact growing!

We encourage our families and community members to participate and help make a difference. Together, we can ensure every child has access to the nourishment they need to thrive. 💙
