Our Philosophy:
"Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
The Grapevine Early Learning Center is designed to meet the emotional, social, physical, and intellectual needs of children in a safe and loving environment. Activities are offered each day to help each child develop his/her potential in these areas. We believe that each child
deserves a secure and stimulating environment provided by stable and loving adults. We believe that the learning process for any child begins at birth. Children are eager to learn and parental involvement in this learning process is very important. Parents and teachers must be united in their efforts to encourage the child to reach their fullest potential. Children are looking for role models; therefore, we must be people of integrity; we must be loyal, kind, patient, hardworking and loving. Our lifestyle must be reflective of attributes that would encourage positive behavior in our learners. We believe the environment plays a major role in the development of a child. As teachers, we must encourage each student, regardless of where they are academically, socially, physically, or emotionally, to believe in themselves in order to succeed. Goals:
To provide a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for children to grow and develop. Children need to feel secure and cared for at all times. The Grapevine Early Learning Center provides a loving environment that enables children to feel safe, thereby freeing them to be open and eager to learn. To help each family maintain their child's good health and promote physical development. Nutritious snacks are served and strict hygiene practices are maintained by our staff. To help each child function effectively with peers and with adults. Children are placed in grouping which will help them learn from each other and respect individual differences and rates of development. The teaching staff will help your child develop his language skills to help resolve conflicts with peers, and will be alert to opportunities which arise for teaching social skills. In the early years, children must learn to trust their teachers and develop a strong positive self-concept. Our staff will work hard in helping your child develop trust and self-esteem. To help each child develop their cognitive abilities to the fullest. An enormous amount of learning takes place from birth to age 5. Therefore, we will offer an instructional program that will meet the child's individual level of development. Our school-age program provides a safe and healthy environment for children 5 through 12 years of age each day before and after school and including days when school is closed. We encourage all children to be caring, honest, respectful and responsible. Our summer program begins at the end of the school year in June and continues until school resumes in August. We provide a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, field trips and help children form a sense of community. Hours of Operation:
