VIGOR STUDENTS IN ACTION! Do you see your student on the move?

The Wolfpack is building its future! 💚🐺 Our students are showing up, achieving academic success, and making the most of every opportunity!

⚙️ Today, our seniors explored technical programs, career pathways, and local industry connections at Bishop State’s Manufacturing Day.

🌟 Our JROTC, DECA, and Culinary students sharpened their leadership, career readiness, and innovative thinking at the JLDC Conference.

💙 Last Friday, the Class of 2027 met the Jackson State Tigers! Several seniors applied on the spot and earned their “Roaring Loud” T-shirts. Others attended the Gulf Coast Challenge College and Career Fair and spoke first-hand with college and career recruiters.

Wolfpack Mentality is a Future-Focused Mentality!

💚🐺 How do we know our students love attending school? The data tells the story!

Our students are showing up in record numbers, eating well, and taking advantage of the opportunities available at 913!

With 100% of our seniors MATCHED for scholarship and college acceptance opportunities, our first round of results is in—and the Class of 2027 is making moves:

🎓 Nearly $14 MILLION in scholarship offers!
🏫 Nearly 700 college acceptances!

Kudos to our seniors and the teachers, counselors, staff, and families helping them reach new heights!

Check out the Wolfpack data and share the great things happening at 913 North Wilson Avenue. We are “The School That Spirit Built,” where Wolfpack Mentality is Winning Mentality! 💚🤍

💚🐺 Vigor is on the move! Can you find your student working and learning?

Our teachers are providing meaningful instruction through hands-on learning and classroom experiences that encourage students to monitor their own progress. Check out our Wolfpack in action!

✍🏽 Mrs. Matthews-Thompson used Brainfuse to strengthen her juniors’ writing skills as they prepare for the ACT.

🇺🇸 Staff Sergeant Williams is ensuring that Vigor’s Army JROTC program is skilled, competitive, and in compliance.

💼 Ms. Matthews’ entrepreneurship students worked in groups of three to create businesses as part of a larger business project. Future entrepreneurs at work!

🌍 The World War I gallery walk in Mrs. Harris’ class brought history to life as students explored, participated, and shared their learning with classmates.

🧇 Big breakfasts aren’t just happening in our café—they’re happening in Culinary, too! Students prepared delectable waffles, bacon, and eggs while Mrs. Jackson guided them through proper kitchen etiquette and cooking techniques. The meal was scrumptious!

🦴 Human Anatomy instructor Ms. King took it back to basics with a creative learning activity. Students cut, colored, and glued parts of the human anatomy to demonstrate their understanding of the subject matter.

🏈 Our JV football team defeated UMS-Wright and remains undefeated! Our varsity football team also earned a victory over LeFlore!

🎶 And just when we thought our week couldn’t get any better, Jackson State University visited our campus and practiced with our students in the audience, helping us close out a wonderful week of teaching and learning!

It’s all in a day’s work! 💚🐺 Vigor is on the move!

Our teachers did an awesome job with their hallway bulletin boards, which were due today! Across campus, the Wolfpack continues to shine:

🏈 Our football team was named Lagniappe Team of the Week!
🌟 Zy Wilson was named AHSAA Player of the Week!
🏆 Gabe Brown was named 1st and 10 Player of the Week!
💪 Willie Powell was named Lineman of the Week by the Crichton Optimist Club!
📣 Our cheer team competed in the AHSAA Regional Cheer Competition!

👨🏾‍🍳 Our Culinary 2 students stepped into the role of health inspectors as they prepared for the grand opening of Café Vigor! They inspected the kitchen using the same careful eye expected of a Mobile County Health Department inspector. Safe to say, we scored high and are ready to open for business!

We are asking all of our fans to wear camo at Thursday night's game against LeFlore. It's going to be epic. Let's gooooo!

💚💫 Bulletin Board Shout-Outs:

• Ms. Windham — Math
• Mrs. Cox — Take What You Need
• Ms. Cowan — Google
• Mrs. Lott — Octubre
• Mrs. Harris — Words of Wisdom

• Dr. Robinson — Math, Science, ELA
• Coach Houston — Harvesting Knowledge

🚨🐺 STATEMENT MADE. PLAYOFF PUSH CONTINUES. 🐺🚨

FINAL: VIGOR 19 | BC RAIN 0

It took a quarter to get rolling.

Then the Lady Wolves hit the gas. 💨

Vigor grabbed a 7–0 halftime lead and controlled the rest of the night, taking down BC Rain 19–0 and recording its THIRD CONSECUTIVE SHUTOUT. 🔒🔒🔒

🎯 Sealadiah Brown was outstanding at quarterback, directing the Vigor offense and helping the Lady Wolves take control of the game while adding two interceptions to her season total!

⚡ Marciana Thomas made her presence felt on BOTH sides of the ball — finding the end zone for a touchdown and coming up with a fourth-quarter interception to slam the door on BC Rain.

But the story of the night was bigger than any one player.

This was a COMPLETE TEAM WIN.

For the third game in a row, the Vigor defense didn’t allow a single point.

0. ZERO. NOTHING. 😤🔒

And this one means even more…

📈 Vigor is now one step closer to HOSTING A PLAYOFF GAME — in the FIRST YEAR of the program.

Read that again.

INAUGURAL SEASON.
PLAYOFF PUSH.
THREE STRAIGHT SHUTOUTS.
HISTORY IN THE MAKING.

The Lady Wolves aren’t just playing their first season.

They’re building something. 🐺💚

Happy birthday to Dr. Reginald Crenshaw, our MCPSS School Board Commissioner for District 3! 🎉

Dr. Crenshaw stopped by last week to congratulate our girls flag football team after their win over Escambia County. Thank you for all you do to support the students and staff of C. F. Vigor High School!
