Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Special Education Math Aide at Mont Harmon Middle School in Price, Utah. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass a Live Scan fingerprint background screening. The Special Education Math Aide provides instructional and behavioral support to students with disabilities in a middle school setting. Under the direction and supervision of a special education teacher, the aide assists students in accessing grade-level mathematics instruction, developing foundational math skills, and making progress toward their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

The aide works collaboratively with special education teachers, general education math teachers, and other school personnel to support student learning, independence, participation, and success in the classroom.

Must have the ability to communicate with all stakeholders, ability to follow directions as well as knowledge of the skills and strategies of the game of basketball. This week is Spirit week. There are dress up days to show school spirit. Just a reminder-no face paint and no masks. Tomorrow we will be on afternoon assembly schedule-pep rally at 12:45. On Wednesday we will be having a tailgate party and will be running the afternoon activity schedule.

Parent Teacher Conference will be held on Monday September 28 from 3:00-6:00 and Tuesday September 29 from 3:30-6:30. Also on Tuesday September 29 at 5:00 we will have a parent meeting about technology. Topics that will be discussed are: Understand current dangers in technology, Create healthy boundaries around screens and social media, Help their kids and families build a healthier relationship with technology. Please mark your calendars for these events.

We have EXCITING NEWS! For the first time ever, we are joining the Esports League! 🎉 Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or just love playing competitively, we want to see what you’ve got!

🎮 Esports Tryouts
📅 Wednesday & Thursday, September 9th & 10th
⏰ 3:30 PM–4:30 PM

Going on the Magic: The Gathering Club field trip tomorrow? No problem! If you’ll be on the field trip after school, you can come in tomorrow morning at 7:00 AM for your tryout.

👉 Important: Students must attend both days of tryouts.

🕹️ If You Make the Team...
Esports practices/matches will take place after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30 PM–4:45 PM.

There is a $30 fee for students who make the team, which covers the league and uniform.

⚠️ This is a full-commitment sport club. If you have another sport or activity that conflicts with Esports at the same time, you will need to choose which one you would like to participate in.
