Lissa's Tiny Totts is more than just a preschool or daycare; it is a nurturing haven where children are loved and celebrated. Established in 2006 by certified Child Development Associate (CDA) Melissa Pierce, we bring passion to every aspect of our program. Our curriculum is built on the belief that
learning should be as natural and joyful as playing. Our educational plans are tailored to each child's energy type, recognizing the individuality of every child. We offer story time, meditation sessions, and a children's library, providing a calming space where children can learn to regulate their emotions in healthy ways. We also offer after-school care, complete with a healthy snack and enriching activities, ensuring your child's day is filled with fun and growth. From engaging art projects that stimulate your child's creativity and imagination to Montessori-style toys, our indoor classroom is thoughtfully designed to ignite and support your child's imagination and learning journey. Outside, our spacious playground helps children develop their large motor skills, imagination, and sense of exploration. For our youngest learners, we have a dedicated infant space that offers the freedom and safety they need to grow, thrive, and reach important milestones. We understand the importance of nutritious meals, which is why we serve homemade breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack to all our students. We also provide essential items such as sunscreen, diapers, diaper cream, wipes, and formula at no additional cost. We also believe open communication is key to successful childcare services, which is why we keep parents updated on their child's day through a convenient parent app and our active page where you can find updates on activities and parenting tips and resources. The safety of every child in our care is a top priority for our staff. To ensure a safe and nurturing environment, all employees are mandated to undergo a background check, CPR and first aid training, obtain a food handler's permit, and hold certifications in child development and early childhood education. We also have experience in providing care for children with special needs. Building strong connections with each child is a priority for us at Lissa's Tiny Totts.
