I had some fun putting this together. It is very informal, but this is what I found after pulling comments and taking polls from multiple and various corners of the UAS world. People want operators who understand airspace and safety, can think and fly clearly under pressure, and communicate well with teams and clients. It didn’t matter whether the responses came from engineers, pilots, creatives, GIS folks, or FPV builders—those three skills kept rising to the top.

My lab tech and outreach instructors had another Christmas yesterday and were thrilled to open the 1.2 Ranger RTF from FMS and start training to get check off on it! We'll add the Ranger to our introductory teaching practices and Rookie Fly Day events this spring and summer! A HUGE thank you to FMS!!
