Dr. Ryan Quarles, President of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, and Dr. Samuel Todd Brand, Chancellor of Big Sandy Community and Technical College, led an open forum today on the Pikeville Campus.

The forum welcomed discussion from faculty, staff, and community members, providing an opportunity to share ideas, ask questions, and discuss the future of BSCTC.

The forum was followed by a ribbon cutting celebrating the opening of the brand-new nursing education space. BSCTC is excited for the opportunities this space will bring students pursuing healthcare careers.

Big Sandy Community & Technical College is seeking a full-time Line Worker Instructor for our Hager Hill Campus.

If you have at least 5 years of line worker experience and a passion for safety, mentorship, and workforce development, we'd love to hear from you. In this role, you'll provide hands-on and classroom instruction, helping students develop the technical skills and safety knowledge needed for successful careers in the electrical utility industry.
