BLC Graduation – Sunday, June 1st
This year’s graduation is extra special as we celebrate the retirement of our beloved Ms. Pam, who has faithfully taught, loved, and shared God’s Word with the children of Baptist Learning Center for the past 30 years!
We would love to invite all former students and parents who have had the joy of having Ms. Pam as a teacher to join us after the ceremony for a special celebration in her honor.
Come help us thank her for three beautiful decades of service and love!

Today our students got their hands dirty (in the best way!) by planting their raised garden beds.
They planted carrots, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, green onions, zucchini, lavender, and sunflowers—learning about plant life cycles, soil health, and sustainable growing practices along the way.
This hands-on activity brought science to life and helped students build responsibility, teamwork, and an appreciation for healthy eating and the environment.



We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU, to the Floyd County Health Department, they make it possible for our students to have these raised garden beds.

Today, our young learners transformed into little chefs, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm as they made their very own pizzas. This hands-on experience not only encouraged imaginative play but also supported the development of fine motor skills, early math through measuring ingredients, and an understanding of healthy food choices. It was a fun and educational activity that blended sensory exploration with real-life learning.
