Stop by the Presque Isle Tech Center on Friday, May 29, from 8:00 AM–2:00 PM and check out these student-built buildings for sale!

Constructed by our Building Trades students, both buildings are fully finished inside with flooring, insulated walls, and beautiful tongue-and-groove ceilings. The electrical work, including electric heat and wiring, was completed by students in our Electrical program.

Our Animal Science and Plant Science students had the opportunity to visit Chase Family Farm in Mapleton this week for their annual trip. Students were able to see firsthand a truly sustainable beef operation while learning about cattle management, farming practices, and the day-to-day work involved in the industry.

A highlight of the visit was spending time with the happy, healthy cows and their playful calves!

A huge thank you to Vaughn and Laura Chase for welcoming our students and for sharing their knowledge, experience, and passion for agriculture. We appreciate the continued support of hands-on learning opportunities for our students!

High school students compete in Envirothon challenge Dozens of high school students competed in the Envirothon in Houlton, an academic challenge testing knowledge of forestry, wildlife, aquatics, soils, and pollution. Presque Isle Team Two took first place and advances to the state competition.
