Hello everyone!! I hope you all are staying safe and healthy!! Here is an update on Gentile Hall! I was told last week that we would be closed until the end of June. Then the governor lifted more restrictions last Friday. We are all patiently waiting to hear from the chancellor of the umaine system to make his decisions. Hopefully we will hear something this week!! We will keep you all posted when anything changes. Thank you for your patience!!

Workout for the Week!!
I've had to be creative with our home workouts with the girls.
We did ladder drills on my basement floor. I made my own ladder using a marker. We did 15 minutes of ladder drills, followed by 10 stair runs in the basement. Then we did some weight circuits using either a dumbbell, plate, or medball. We did lunges, squat to presses, reaches, and trunk rotations. Then we did core circuits, and then we finished with resisted running using a band. We each did 4 sets of resisted running forward. Trying to stay active has been tough but makes you feel so much better!! Hopefully I can get back to teaching fitness classes in June.

Cardio Stations
Stair Runs
Fast Feet on Box or Ball
Line Drills hops side to side
Do 3 sets at 30 seconds each with no rest

Body Weight Stations
Push-ups
Squat Jumps
Split Squat Jumps
Do 3 sets at 30 seconds each with no rest

Core Circuits
Supermans
Crunches
Double Leg Raises
Do 3 sets at 30 seconds and switch the core exercises up each set

Cardio Workout of the Day!
2 Hill Sprints
3 300 yard shuttle runs
5 Sprints from mailbox to neighbors mailbox
I did this workout yesterday, it was tough but good.

Workout of the day!! The weather has been great, so get outside and enjoy some sun!!
The girls and I did some ladder drills, and then we did some sprints in the driveway. Then I set up cones in the driveway, and we did zig zag patttern drills. Then we finished with one hill sprint. Good workout!!
