Join us tonight for an opening reception at the Reed Art Gallery during Presque Isle's First Friday Art Night!

The exhibition features paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, photographs, and other works of art acquired from the estate of former UMPI President Donald Zillman and his wife, Linda Zillman.

Honoring the Zillmans' long-standing commitment to the fine arts and generous support of UMPI, the exhibition is an opportunity to celebrate their legacy and share their extensive art collection with our campus and surrounding community.

You may have heard that national-bestselling author Morgan Talty is coming to campus! Talty will serve as UMPI's next Libra Distinguished Lecture Series speaker during the Voices in the North Country Writers Symposium on Oct. 15.
In anticipation of Talty's visit, the Mark and Emily Turner Memorial Public Library in Presque Isle will host a special book club discussion of his novel "Fire Exit" tonight (6 p.m.). If you're a Talty fan, this is a great chance to chat about his book and get some questions ready to ask him in October!
