Our summer and fall online courses for Early College students are now listed on our website. Check out the courses we offer and start building your college transcript! The deadline to submit a complete application is one week before classes begin.

The deadline to drop on-campus, online, or concurrent enrollment courses is Tuesday, September 16. Dropping a course by this deadline will not result in any academic or financial penalties.

To drop a course, please log in to your ExplorEC account, click on the Drop/Withdraw button, and provide a reason for the status change. If you need assistance, reach out to us at [email protected]

Signed student agreement
Parent consent
School counselor approval
Recent policy changes include a lifetime limit of 18 tuition-free credit hours and a maximum enrollment of four courses at a time. Don’t miss out on the UMPI Early College Program and the opportunity to earn free college credit hours!

High School Students: Enroll in College Courses Today!

Are you a high school student looking to get a head start on college? UMPI offers online and in-person courses designed to meet your schedule. Seats are still available in exciting subjects like Art, Computer Science, Geography, Psychology, and Sociology.

We visited Easton Jr/Sr High today and spoke with students interested in college courses and programs. They asked great questions. We look forward to another visit after the new year!

Second meeting of the year with UMPI and Early College representatives at Easton Jr/Sr. High School! Reps met with interested 9th -12th grade students to hear and ask questions about Early College, Concurrent Enrollment and the college application process. There will be another session in the spring.

We had a meeting with Easton Jr./Sr. High School students on Thursday to talk about how their early college coursework can support them as they pursue their degree. We addressed questions concerning general education requirements, degree options, and how to use our Finish in Four degree outlines, which provide a thorough schedule of courses needed to earn a bachelor's degree. In the upcoming months, we plan to visit additional high schools in the area. Get updates about our scheduled meetings on this page.

UMPI and Early College representatives visited Easton Jr. Sr. High School to meet with interested 9th -12th grade students. Students were able to ask questions about Early College, Concurrent Enrollment and the college application process.
These visits will take place several times throughout the year.

Are you interested in a summer course? We still have openings in Intro to Sociology (SOC 100), College Algebra (MAT 117), American Government (POS 101), and Lifelong Wellness (HPR 101). These online courses begin on July 1 and end on August 9. Complete applications are due by the end of the day on June 24 through ExplorEC. Come get a jump start on your college transcript with us this summer!

Students from Fort Fairfield High School were on campus recently as part of a concurrent enrollment experience. Following lunch in the cafeteria, a campus tour, and an Early College presentation, students took part in a chemistry lab focused on spectroscopy with Dr. Udaya Jayasundara. It was a great way for high school students to conduct a chemistry experiment in a college setting.
