Good morning!
A few updates:
1.) Our Christmas program will no longer be on the 16th. It will have to be rescheduled for the start of the new year.
2.) Cookie dough delivery has been delayed. It was supposed to be ready for pickup today and is not ready. Mrs. Thompson will let us know a time as soon as she is given that information.
3.) Iready diagnostic testing will be tomorrow and Wednesday. Please help build up your child's confidence for this big event! Encourage them to get a good night of sleep and eat well so their body and mind can be prepared.

A ton of stuff coming home today! Pictured is a study guide along with extra practice. Because we are practicing so many different long vowel spellings we are sending home a spelling word list. It is on the study guide. All long e words that are used on the test Thursday are on this list!! We send super words home every single week!!! PLEASE practice them.

🎃 While our contest winners are still up for auction, the remaining pumpkin creations are also available to be picked up with a donation to our fundraiser! 🎃

Take a look through our pumpkin gallery, and comment to claim! Payment in the form of cash or check can be taken to PES, where you can also pick up your pumpkin.

All donations go directly to our fundraiser to put up shade structures for our playground!

🎃PES Pumpkin Fundraiser Auction🎃

Need Halloween decor?? Our students have decorated some of the cutest and coolest pumpkins around!

Consider making a donation in exchange for one of these fantastic works of art. All donations will go directly to our fundraiser to put up shade structures on the PES playgrounds!

Today we will auction off the WINNERS of the pumpkin decorating competition, and tomorrow the rest of the amazing creations will be posted for you to pick from! Here is how you can get in on the action:

•There are 12 incredible winning pumpkins in our auction. Take a look through them all!

•Comment your bid underneath the photo of the pumpkin you would like to have for your home or business!

•Bidding is set to end on Thursday 10/23/25 at noon!

•Be the highest bid, make payment and pickup at PES.

Please feel encouraged to place your new pumpkin out on your porch or storefront so the kids can see the way their community came together in support of them.

Study guides are going home today for tests Thursday. A reminder about the pumpkin decorating contest is also going home! A photo of it is below. 🎃

In the coming days your child may be coming home with a libary book. PES has Accelerated Reader (AR) again, which is a system that matches your child's reading level to an appropriate book, that they can then take quizzes on and earn points.

Make sure your child remembers that this book is their responsibility! They will have the chance to check out a new book each week. If their book is lost or damaged the librarian will send them home with a note to pay to replace it.

They have been so excited about this opportunity!
