Meet Katie Rose Stonecypher (’26) 👋
While pursuing dual degrees in Forensic Psychology alongside Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination, she has contributed to real-world work through the Cold Case Task Force and gained professional experience at a local accounting firm. Her journey has also taken her abroad to Zambia, where she studied global business and cross-cultural communication, and into her community as a volunteer advocate at a local women’s shelter.
Along the way, Katie Rose has found a unique way to combine psychology, accounting and service — building skills she hopes to one day use as the director of a women and children’s shelter.
“If you are scared, that is even more reason to do it,” she said.
From Prescott to Zambia and wherever comes next, Katie Rose is proof that sometimes the best path is the one you build for yourself.
