This 1965 Cessna 150 helped carry the Embry-Riddle Golden Eagles Flight Team through decades of success, contributing to national championships and individual titles in NIFA SAFECON competitions. Now retired from competition flying, Eagle Two rests in sunny San Diego.

In April, we hosted another ERAU-NASA-NSF Aerospace Cybersecurity Workshop, bringing together industry professionals to discuss the importance of cybersecurity in aerospace and aviation.
This two-day workshop featured panel discussions, networking opportunities and an interactive capture-the-flag experience. This aerospace-themed capture-the-flag challenges students from various universities to compete in interactive activities that strengthen their skills in identifying risks and mitigating them.

Meet Samantha Wright — an Applied Biology major, NAIA All-American athlete, and a rising force in health care and collegiate soccer. ⚽🧬
From conducting aerospace physiology research focused on helping astronauts recover from muscle and bone loss after space travel to leading Embry-Riddle Women’s Soccer through a historic national semifinal run, Samantha is proving what dedication looks like on and off the field.
A 2025 NAIA All-American with 15 assists and the NAIA Women’s Soccer Scholar Player of the Year, she’s balancing elite athletics with rigorous scientific research and a passion for helping others through medicine.
