Give a 5-Minute Warning: Transitioning away from home/play is easier when kids know it's coming.

Assign a 'Special Job': Give them a small responsibility for the walk/car ride (e.g., 'You're in charge of holding the lunchbox').

Keep the Goodbye Short & Sweet: A predictable routine (a high-five, a hug, and 'I'll see you after snack!') builds confidence.
