🌲 Wilderness First Responder Course – Summer Offering 🌲

Ready to take your skills beyond the classroom? Join us this summer for our Wilderness First Responder course and learn how to manage patients when help is hours away.

This 8-week program will prepare you to assess, treat, and make critical decisions in remote environments with limited resources.

What you’ll learn:
• Field patient assessment
• Prolonged care & decision-making
• Environmental emergencies (heat, cold, altitude)
• Trauma management in remote settings
• Evacuation and transport considerations

Our Prescott Valley Night EMT class has been hard at work sharpening their trauma assessment and management skills

These students continue to demonstrate strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high quality patient care. It’s great to see them stepping up to the challenge and building the confidence they’ll need when real emergencies happen.

Paramedic Cohort 19 hit the trail today for their wilderness hike out training! 🥾🚑

This hands on scenario is designed to challenge students in real world conditions while covering environmental emergencies and testing their scene management skills in a remote setting. From patient assessment to coordinating care and resources in difficult terrain, these students were pushed to think critically and work as a team.

Cohort 19 continues to raise the bar and push the limits of excellence. We’re proud to watch their skills, leadership, and confidence grow with every challenge we put in front of them!

Blindfolded airway skills? No problem.
