As we close out another year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on everything that made it meaningful- the long shifts, the tough calls, the small wins and everything in between. This year was shaped by the dedication, resilience and heart of our EMTs and paramedics, who show up for each other and the community every single day. We’re incredibly grateful for this team and the work we do together. As we look ahead to the year to come, we do so with gratitude and optimism. Proud to be part of the Global Medical Response #OneTeam

To the Students, Partners, and Community of The Meadows, It is with a mix of pride and emotion that Rosie and I announce our retirement. Our journey began on February 3, 2014 with two students, and after 11 years and 10 months of dedication to nursing education, our final chapter will conclude following the December class. Reflecting on this decade, we are incredibly proud of what we have built together: Consistency: We successfully completed 141 classes, including maintaining a perfect attendance record—never missing a single day of instruction—throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Impact: We have instructed approximately 1,100 students. Today, 400 of our graduates remain active CNAs, and 220 have advanced to become Registered Nurses.
Community: We extend our deepest gratitude to the local long term care facilities that hosted our clinicals. A special thank you goes to Dignity Health, who stepped up during the pandemic to host our students for two critical years.
To our students: you are the soul of The Meadows. Your passion and growth made the 17-mile commute every day more than worth it, remember to stay on the side of the light.
We are pleased to share that the school is being left in excellent hands. Glo Evilsizor will be stepping in as the new Director. Glo has been our weekend only instructor for years. She has assembled a talented team of instructors, front office staff and is fully prepared to continue graduating top-notch CNAs.
We will be at the school for the remainder of this week. We would love for you to stop by and say hello before we begin our next chapter.
