A big congratulations to the 2025 Prescott High School Athletic Hall of Famers - the 2019 girls soccer team, Aaron Greene, Colton Amos, Natalie Acklin(Greenfield) and Julie Rusing (Acklin).

COLTON AMOS
PHS Athletic Hall of Fame inductee Colton Amos. Grand Canyon region defensive player of the year. 4A first team all conference safety 2017 and linebacker 2018. 2019 National Football Foundation Scholarship Athlete recipient. Holds PHS game tackle record at 29. Season record tackles of 194 and career record of 391. Ranked #1 in AZ and #35 nationally for season tackles in 2018. 3 time varsity letterman in wrestling and 2 time varsity letterman in track.

PHS Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees 2019 Girls Soccer Team. Grand Canyon Region Champs shutting out every team 33-0. Lost 1-0 in State Semi Finals.

PHS Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee Julie Rusing Acklin. AZ Junior Olympics 1971-73 (no girls high school state competition at that time). 1st place long jump 71,72,73 and 1st place 100 meter hurdles 73. National Junior Olympics 1973.

Congratulations to the 2025 Prescott High School Athletic Hall of Fame honorees. They will be inducted into the Hall of Fame before the first Badger home football game of the season on September 5th. Inductees are:
Julie Rusing Acklin, Natalie Acklin Greenfield, Aaron Greene, Colton Amos and the 2019-2020 Girls Soccer Team. Legacy members being inducted are Doug Bunch and Tim Carter.

Congratulations to all of the new 2024 Prescott High School Hall of Fame members who were inducted at a ceremony and introduced before last night’s first Badger football game of the season. Recipients included Raphael Temple, Ryan Greene, Daniel Hernandez, Marci McGlinn Hurlbert, Grant Temple and the 2006 Badger football team. Also inducted were Legacy Members Dr. Bill Shepard, Lou Beneitone, Bill White, Ray Wherley, Bill Gahn ,Les Fenderson and Birdie Ferra.

Our 5th inductee into the Prescott High School Athletic Hall of Fame is gymnast Marci McGlinn. Marci is a 1981 graduate who was a 4 yr Varsity gymnast She was the Girls Gymnastics All Around Champion for the AAA Skyline Division in both 1978 and 1979. In 1979 and 1981 she took 3rd in state for vaulting.

Our 4th Hall of Fame inductee this year is wrestler Daniel Hernandez. Daniel, a 2016 graduate, was a 4 yr Varsity wrestler with an unprecedented 3 State championships.
