Sarah Milligan-Toffler, president and CEO of the Children & Nature Network, was recently interviewed by The Washington Post to discuss the extensive research supporting the mental health benefits of children being in nature.

Milligan-Toffler highlighted how numerous studies have found that kids living in greener environments have better moods, higher self-esteem and more resilience. Research also shows that long-term exposure to nature reduces stress and anxiety in children and lowers their levels of aggression.

It still feels like summer but Fall is just around the corner!! our favorite time of the year to run nature Camp All Children in the Woods. While leaves are turning yellow the forest floor is full of wild flowers. The weather is perfect and the kids are eager to play outside!
