We are active, self-reliant, and trustworthy. We promote ethical, cultural, and social development of our sisters. We are Alpha Sigma Tau.

The Epsilon Alpha chapter was colonized at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2004 and consisted of 23 sisters who share the same values and strive to reach every sister’s potential. We are each involved on and around campus and push ourselves in academics. We make every effort to meet the ideals our founders instilled in our sorority: ethical, cultural, and social development.

Hello everyone! My name is Ally and I am I am a freshman studying Aerospace Engineering, astro track, with a minor in Cyber Security. I decided to go through recruitment after hearing all about sisterhood and what it was like to be in a sorority. I chose AST because I felt as though I really bonded with all the sisters, and it really did feel like home!

WELCOME HOME ALLY!

Dear PNM,

keep an open mind! I know I came into college with a very set view of what being in a sorority and sorority life is like, but talking to the girls in each sorority really changed my perspective! Make sure to talk to every chapter, ask them why they joined, their values, and get to know more about their sisterhood. You never know who you will end up connecting with!!

Why I joined AST: I felt the most like myself when talking to the girls. I didn’t have to pretend to be anything I am not, or feel like I needed to brag about my achievements to feel accepted; I felt accepted as soon as I started talking to them and hearing their β€œwhy” for AST. Additionally, I feel like our values of Graciousness, Respect, Intellect, Connections, and Excellence are all moral pillars I already identify with in my personal life. -Sierra

Why AST?

Hello everyone! My name is Viviana and I’m a Senior studying Aeronautical Science Fixed-Wing with a minor in Aviation Safety. I joined AST my freshman year and I have loved it ever since. I chose AST because I connected with the sisters on such a deep level. I had recruitment over zoom and the conversations we had flowed so well and felt very natural. Once I went to in-person preference I was sure AST was home. I loved learning about the philanthropies and what they mean to each sister. I especially connected with Girls Who Code because I always wanted to be a part of a STEM outreach program for young girls especially being apart of the STEM Field myself.
During my Junior Year, I decided to enlist into the US Navy Reserves and my sisters have been so supportive. I could not have made it through boot camp without my Big ❀️
Last Semester, I welcomed my little into the family and it’s been such a wonderful experience being a Big and getting to enjoy the sisterhood together!
