The countdown is ON! 🎉 We can’t wait to welcome our Bobcats back to campus for the first day of school this Thursday, August 6! ❤️🖤

Before the big day, here are a few important reminders for our Bobcat families:

⏰ SCHOOL HOURS
📚 Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–2:40 PM
📚 Friday Early Release: 8:00 AM–12:25 PM

🍎 BREAKFAST
Breakfast is available in the cafeteria beginning at 7:30 AM. Students who are not eating breakfast may arrive on campus at 7:45 AM.

🚌🚗🚶 HOW IS YOUR CHILD GETTING HOME?
Please make sure you and your child know the plan for dismissal each day! Whether your child is riding the bus, being picked up, or walking home, please review the plan together before Thursday.

🚌 BUS RIDERS: Please make sure your child is registered for transportation and that you know their correct bus route and stop before the first day of school.

🍽️ FREE & REDUCED MEAL APPLICATIONS
If your family may qualify for free or reduced-price meals, please take a moment to complete the application before school begins. Every application helps ensure our families have access to available meal benefits.

👋 MEET THE TEACHER — WEDNESDAY
Join us on Wednesday, August 5, from 2:30–3:30 PM for Meet the Teacher! This is a great opportunity for students to drop off their school supplies, meet their teacher, and get familiar with their classroom before the first day. We can’t wait to see you! 🥰📚

📣 ONE MORE REMINDER: If your child’s dismissal plan changes during the school day, please contact your child’s teacher and/or the front office so we can make sure everyone gets home safely.

Today we remember and honor our Granite Mountain Hotshots who lost their lives battling a wildfire in Yarnell on June 30, 2013. We will never forget 19+1. 💜

What an AMAZING Teacher Appreciation Week at Taylor Hicks! ❤️🖤🐾

Our PTA would like to send a HUGE thank you to our incredible Taylor Hicks community for helping us shower our teachers and staff with love this week. None of this would have been possible without the support of our families, volunteers, and generous local businesses.

This week our teachers were treated to:☕ A delicious coffee cart from The Porch Prescott
🌮 Amazing tacos from Spicy Streats🥟 Tasty potstickers from Sauced Potstickers
🍗 Chicken fingers from Canes
🎂 A wonderful deli lunch, cake, and teacher goodie bags donated by Walmart Prescott - Gail Gardner Way

Our teachers work so hard every single day, and it was such a joy to celebrate them all week long. Thank you for helping us make our staff feel appreciated, valued, and loved.

We truly have the BEST Bobcat community! ❤️
