The 16th Annual Prescott Film Festival proudly presents two AZ produced horror film shorts, LIGHTS OFF and CAMP CALLOWAY.

LIGHTS OFF is about a man’s home that becomes possessed by a seductive demon in a sharp horror-comedy by filmmaker Mark Stewart Iverson.

CAMP CALLOWAY is a taut, atmospheric thriller following camp counselors who discover they are not alone in the woods.

Both first run films are shown in a series of AZ Shorts on July 3 at 5pm in CLI Building 19 on the Yavapai College campus in Prescott.

Day One of the Sweet 16 Prescott Film Festival:

This year we are starting off the fest a bit differently! The college has recently completed what is called the Center for Learning and Innovation (CLI) in Building 19 on the Prescott Campus. It is an amazing space and we want to share it with everyone! And - that first day is FREE and open to the public!

We are highlighting our new immersive Igloo-brand 360° theater, now called the Y-MAX. We will be screening a family friendly short film from 10am till 3:00. Then, we will screen a film by Jesse Ickler, one of our YC Film & Media Arts Instructors, called Imagine a Cave.

We will also have workshops and AZ short films:
1-2:30pm "How To Start Your Screenplay" Presented by Tim Boissey
3-4:30pm "Improv For Film: Using What You Know" Presented by Matthew Conde
5-6:30pm AZ Short Films made by local AZ directors!
