Yavapai collage automotive instructors have a vast variety of experience and expertise in fields that may not necessarily be only automotive but still automotive related. Here is an example of taking what you learn from the automotive courses and even applying it to the marine based or power sports based industries. This Tahoe boat is powered by a mercury marine Mercruiser 5.0L fuel injected engine. The engine is a General Motors based 5.0L that was typically used in the 1/2 ton pick up. It has marine based equipment like an additional raw water pump to pull lake water up to the engine for cooling purposes. When you take automotive classes you will also have a chance to take the motorcycle program and learn about personal water crafts, UTV’s, ATV’s, and motorcycles.
