Confession: I want to be the “scheduling, Type A homeschool mom.” 😅
You know… the one who wakes up early, has the lesson plan printed, and casually says, “Okay kids, open to page 47.”
But the truth is… I’m a Type C homeschool mom.
Meaning:
I don’t always have a plan
I take time to have coffee
We do multiple snack times
It's organized chaos
and somehow… we still learn things 😂📚
Some days our “school start time” is 9:00am.
Some days it’s… after the emotional regulation, after the lost pencil, after the “can I tell you something?” and after the third snack request. 🫠
But here’s what I’ve learned:
Type C homeschooling isn’t lazy.
It’s adaptive.
It’s being able to pivot when your kid is overstimulated.
It’s turning errands into math lessons.
It’s squeezing reading into the couch and science into the kitchen.
It’s making learning happen in real life—because that’s where we actually live.
So yes… today’s plan is still: ???
But the kids are:
✅ loved
✅ learning
✅ thriving
And honestly?
That’s the job. 🤍

Are you a Type C homeschool mom too — or are you Type A / Type B?
Tell me in the comments… I need to know I’m not alone 😅✨
